OUR STORY

It started with a simple question

Why is it so hard to find food you can actually trust? When my wife Betsy and I couldn't answer that question at our local grocery store, we decided to grow our own — and TC Farm was born.


What started as one farm became a network. Today we're a group of small Minnesota family farms working together to raise the best food we know how, and to get it directly to families like yours.


What we've built is the food system we wish had existed when we started — and now it's yours to shop.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCE

Why isn't all our produce local?

Growing season in Minnesota runs roughly June through October. But our farmers need customers year-round to make farming a sustainable livelihood — not just five months of it. By offering certified organic produce all year (local when we can, non-local when we can't), we keep our delivery network running, our farmers earning, and your shopping habits centered around local food rather than drifting back to the grocery store in November.

Here's the part that surprises most people

When you buy non-local produce through us instead of at the grocery store, those dollars fund the shared infrastructure that makes it possible for Becca and our other farmers to sell locally — not just during harvest season, but all year long.
