Our Mission

At A to Z Creamery, we're all about creativity. We want to push the boundaries and expand on the concept of traditional ice cream. Everyone has their favorite dessert or food pairing and our goal is to create that in the form of ice cream.

Our business was born due to the need for ice cream with more creativity and more mix ins. Too often we found ice cream with too few chunks and swirls that lacked the ability to "wow" us. That changed when we began making ice cream and mix ins by hand with local dairy and layering each pint with the goods so your scoops are never boring and punch you in the face with flavor.


​We want you to look at ice cream with a more artistic eye and always say "yes" to something new whether as simple Peanut Butter & Chocolate or Goat Cheese & Lemon Curd. 


We hope each unique pint will captivate you and create a little bundle of happiness leaving you licking the lid for more.

A new flavor will become available each week for delivery or pickup in Hopkins with very limited quantities and sells out quickly, sometimes within a minute.


For Delivery:

Be sure to setup your MNFood.Club account before the drop so you are ready to 'reserve now'.  Then shop ahead of the drop and order additional items from other great local farmers and food makers or support MNFood.Club by making your regular grocery purchase from the club! 


For Pickup:

Be sure you have an account setup and ready to go at https://hotplate.com/atozcreamery before the drop. 


Details on the drop are given on Instagram (@atozcreamery) and in emails if you are subscribed (you can do so on the bottom of the homepage under the "Subscribe" function).

For delivery:  
Be sure to setup a MNFood.Club account before the drop.  Ideally you want to shop for any other items ahead of the drop so they are in your cart ready to go.  However, you can always add on items after if you'd prefer.  

Then at the drop, add your ice cream to your upcoming MNFood.Club delivery and choose the 'reserve now' button to lock in your purchase.  Normally MNFood.Club items are not reserved until they automatically checkout after the delviery cut off date, but you can pre-reserve your ice cream to make sure you get it before it sells out!

 For Hopkins Pickup: 
Customers can order online at the hotplate link until sold out aka "First Come, First Serve" and then pick up at the shop. "First Come, First Serve" is the traditional system where orders are accepted whoever places them first. Instagram posts and emails will go out before flavors are live letting you know a general time.
For Delivery: 

Your full order (with our amazing ice cream!) will be delivered to the address you setup on your MNFood.Club site during the day of delivery you select.  You do no need to be home at the time of delivery as all your items will be packed in approperate returnable thermal bags.  Ice Cream will also have dry ice in the package to keep it cold during warmer seasons.  


Please be sure to save all the MNFood.Club packaging and gel packs to leave out next time for your delivery driver.  Also be sure to update your account with any specific notes for your driver like where you leave your package, entrance codes to multi-dwelling buildings and any other preferences you have for delivery. 


You wil receive a text message the day before delivery to give you an estimated time of arrival and also a text 15 minutes before the driver arrives. 


For Pickup:

The location of pick up is 703 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343 (this is not a walk in store front). For all orders, there will be a multiple pick up windows to choose from. If you miss your pick up slot, https://hotplate.com/atozcreamery has other times listed.

We make our own ice cream base with a blend of local milk, cream, sugar and other ingredients for a true homemade and one-of-a-kind experience. Most places use pre-made ice cream mix and add natural or artificial flavorings to make each of their flavors. Since ours is house made, we can alter our base recipe when adding in other ingredients like chocolate, cookies, peanut butter, cheesecake, and more to create the perfect texture and flavor profile every time.

We will repeat flavors very infrequently. We always have new ideas brewing and want to experiment with unique combinations as much as we can.


At the beginning of each year, we will repeat the 4-5 most popular flavors from the year before.

If you're able to not devour your pint within hours, there is a best by date on the back of the pint. We suggest eating within 2 weeks for best/freshest quality but 3 months before iciness and texture changes affect the product. BB 102022-001 means best buy October of 2022. 001 means this was out first batch made in the month of October.
There's no store front at this time, but you may see us pop up in other places as we grow.
